End of Day collection
KS1 & Reception - 3.15pm
KS2 - 3.20pm
The school is only responsible for pupils for ten minutes after the end of the afternoon session unless they are participating in an extra-curricular activity. In an emergency we would, of course, take care of a child whose parent is unable to reach school by the child’s finish time. Please phone us before 3.00pm if you anticipate being late. If we have not had contact from a parent children may be taken to our after school club and a charge made to parents for the cost of the session.
An adult or other responsible person must collect children at the end of the day from the playground. Children will not be released until the teacher sees the usual adult. If someone else will be collecting your child please inform their class teacher or contact the school office. Children in Year Six can walk home with written parental consent.
We have reviewed the length of our school week in accordance with the government expectation that all schools will deliver a school week of at least 32.5 hours by September 2024. This will mean slight changes to the start and end times of the school day. Read the guidance here
