World Autism Acceptance Day!

Last Wednesday was World Autism Acceptance Day. As part of our celebrations, we invited children from across Key Stage 2 to join us in Discoverers. We showed them some of our interventions and explained how they support everyone in various areas. We challenged them to see how well they would do in each activity and allowed Discoverers and Explorers to support them when they were unsure what to do. It was a really positive and inclusive afternoon, it showed us that all Springdale pupils are empathetic, caring, understanding and always up for a challenge! We hope to repeat the afternoon soon, as it was a huge success for all.
