Lykos Poetry Competition

Today, Springdale hosted the very first Lykos Trust Poetry Competition. Year 3 to 6 representatives from both Springdale and Spring Vale, along with a special performance by a Year 2 pupil from Springdale, performed in front of a large audience, showcasing their fantastic poetry writing talents. Each child performed their poem with confidence and there was such a range of topics covered, keeping the audience entranced!

After all performances were complete, the judges came to the decision of one overall winner. A huge well done to Scarlett, a Year 4 pupil at Springdale. Thank you to all children who entered into the competition and were chosen to go on and perform their poems. Keep a look out for the competition again next year!
