Happy Halloween from Discoverers!

This week in Science and Art, we created some chromatography bats. We used coffee filter papers and enjoyed watching the ink colours separate when we added a spritz of water! We then painted and decorated a peg to form the bat's body. We improved our fine motor skills by cutting patterns in the wings, then assembled our bats by squeezing the pegs to attach the wings. We loved our finished bats and can't wait for Halloween!
